Creativity what?

CreativityDen is a design blog founded by Liam McCabe in March 2009. I, Liam McCabe have been interested in design since I first started designing my own signatures for the forums I regularly liked to visit. From there I became interested in web design and so taught myself HTML and CSS so I was able to develop custom forum designs. After improving my skills in Photoshop, HTML and CSS I found myself frequently visiting a couple of blogs. One of them included PSDTUTS. A invaluable resource that has taught me so much when it comes to Photoshop. With the success of PSDTUTS came NETTUTS. The combination of the two led me to become interested further in web design.

Without realizing how many design blogs there were I was excited to start my own blog about…design and I’m glad I did. Not only is starting a website a huge amount of fun it is also hugely challenging. CreativityDen has had it’s ups and downs, but it is now doing very well with some excellent designers contributing and more and more people beginning to follow the website through social media websites.

Behind the scenes

The person behind CreativityDen is I, Liam McCabe. I am currently studying for my A Levels (my final school examinations) and along the way I have been teaching myself how to be become a better designer and writer.

Contribute

CreativityDen is always looking for new contributors. If you’re a keen designer and have a nack for writing, why not write for CreativityDen? Design is such a broad subject and so there is number of topics that you can discuss. If you have an idea for an article, feel free to contact me. If you’re not good at brainstorming ideas then contact me anyway, I’m sure I can suggest a few topics that may interest you.

Advertise

CreativitDen has one ad space on the blog and gallery. The ad space will vary in price based on traffic and popularity of CreativityDen but will always be very competitive. The ad’s size is a spacious 610 x 100 and is positioned below the featured section of each site. I love banners that are attractive and appealing not only do they compliment the current design but they will probably improve the CTR.
