And so another year has passed. CreativityDen has only been around for half of it but has enjoyed every last minute. I would first like to wish all my readers a year of creativity and success, I would also like to thank everyone for all their support via comments and subscriptions. It has been a pleasure publishing content and being involved with the design community. As a token of gratitude, I would like to giveaway a free wallpaper and a free copy of the new Rockable mini-book now available – Twitter up your business!
I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has supported CreativityDen through subscribing and comments. I am truly honored that readers continue to revisit CreativityDen. My deepest thanks goes out to all of you.
I have big plans for CreativityDen this year, the first will be the content. From this day forth they will be no post that is consider ‘fluff’ (a term used to define posts that are published just to keep up the post rate). One thing I love about CreativityDen is that I continue to learn. I have learnt so much about design, marketing and blogging the past year and I wouldn’t have learnt anything without CreativityDen. I believe I now have enough experience and knowledge to produce higher quality posts regarding design, usability, typography and various other topics.

Hoping for a creative year!
I also plan to be a bit more productive this year. I have various aims that I would like to achieve regarding this. Firstly, I would like to get a few graphic and theme files approved on themeforest and graphic river. Write three to four guest posts a month. Maybe start doing some freelance work. But of course my main aim is to improve CreativityDen’s content. I would therefore greatly appreciate any feedback. What type of posts would you like to see at CreativityDen? What topics would you like tutorials to be on? Is there anything you don’t like about CreativityDen? Is there any changes you would like to see?
I needed a wallpaper that would motivate me to live my dream. It’s simple but works for me
I hope you like it!

Twitter up your business
In this Rockable* Mini-Book, author Maneesh Sethi takes a look at the social networking phenomenon Twitter from the perspective of a business owner, and explains how to make the most of the service to boost your company’s brand, popularity, and — of course — sales.
By the time you’ve finished this book, you’ll know not only the basics of Twitter usage, but how to deliver value in only 140 characters, build a loyal following, and use that following to expand your reach and market your business.
For your chance to win a copy of Twitter up your business all you have to do is leave a comment that includes your favorite post from CreativityDen, your favorite post from the design community and any (positive or negative) feedback you may have for CreativityDen ![]()
Entries will last until the 8th of January. Winner will be announced the next day using random.org.
Good luck and once again, Happy New Year! ![]()

HI Liam,
I simply love the design of your blog. It is to me, probably one of the more creatively vibrant styles out there.
I had a read though some of the other articles and I particularly like the compilation piece on websites that use transparency. It was interesting to take note of these details in design.
Happy New Year and I look forward to your future posts with much anticipation.
Cheers mate
Thanks very much for the comment Josh. I am trying to edge away from list posts but I’ll see what I can do
Hey Liam, thanks for a very nice blog
.
The post I enjoyed the most was surely Create a funky most commented section for your blog! Completely amazing.
When it comes to the design community, I have recently read a coll post on anaglyphic text effects (http://line25.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-cool-anaglyphic-text-effect-with-css). Both of these posts are now in my list of “things you gotta know”.
And finally – some positive feedback: I like the fact that your posts are mostly tutorials or similar knowledge sharing articles (many of the design blogs almost exclusively post articles about “top ten posts on this”, “top seven blogs on that” and “eleven inspiring photos for something else”).
So keep it up!
.-= Voras´s last blog ..Infografika: geras informacijos dizainas =-.
Thanks for the link Voras, I’m not sure how I missed that but did!
Thanks also for the positive feedback. I can assure you that in the future there will be no more ‘list’ posts.
I really liked http://blog.creativityden.com/the-six-fundamental-ways-of-adding-depth-to-your-designs/ I thought you made some good points on effective ways to help your designs. The only feedback I have is that your site looks great, keep up the good work!
